Prince Fox Drops Driving Anthem “Not The One” Ahead Of Upcoming EP

As a stepping stone to the upcoming release of his EP, titled “I Got You,” Prince Fox gives us a good taste of what he’s been working on. “Not The One” is a dreamy, pop-influenced feelgood track about longing for someone that you know isn’t good for you.

The lyrics to the catchy single go hand-in-hand with the music that surrounds them. With a lingering guitar riff, dreamy vocals, and an 80’s/retro-inspired synth hook, the track comes together quite nicely. As mentioned before, this track is a release ahead of Prince Fox’s EP, “I Got You,” an introduction to a more refined Prince Fox sound. This is a result of listening, learning, growing, and experimenting over the past four years.

Prince Fox says “I Got You” is “something we always said to each other in college. Whatever you need, I got you. Need me to help you move, need a couple bucks, need help getting over a girl? I got you.” This is a message to my day-one fans. To all the people who played my shit to their friends, who have been riding for me since day one, I won’t let you down. As an artist, this EP is me adulting.”

Prince Fox is on tour and will be in Portland on Saturday, November 23rd. More info is available here.
