Pusha T Drops Visual For “If You Know You Know”

After releasing his new album DAYTONA at the end of May, Pusha T has released the first visual from the album for his song “If You Know You Know”. The song itself showcases Pusha T talking about how he’s on top of the trap game, which is a frequent topic that is heard throughout most of his music. Within “If You Know You Know”, Pusha T describes this topic in various forms, motifs, and themes heard throughout.

Directed by Shomi Patwary, the video touches on the issue of police brutality towards African Americans. Throughout the entire video, it shows him being pulled over to eventually having his hands up with multiple cops pointing their guns at him. Through various clips, it demonstrates that Pusha T is in a calm non-violent state as the cops get progressively angrier.

The overall setting of the video is quite simple, as it focuses more on this topic throughout mixed with Pusha T’s creative and powerful messaging.
