You hate Donald Trump… we get it. That’s all anyone has been talking about for the last four years (pray to God it’s not four more) and Que Tha Boss is sick of it too. His new single “Trump Tight” is a tongue-in-cheek attack on the anti-Trump hysteria that none of us can escape.
Quion Gully started his label Revolver Recordz over 10 years ago and this particular song spawned from the craziness that is our 24-hour news cycle. “There’s so much police brutality, racism, and hate going on in the world,” Gully said. “I just sat in my studio one night and thought long and hard about what can I come up with to make people laugh again.”
Que Tha Boss says this song represents his personality and the fact that he loves clowning around and making others laugh. “Trump Tight” provides a satirical view of all of the Trump mascots and detractors in the world. Whether you love or hate the guy, trust me, we fucking get it.
I would have loved to see the looks on people’s faces white Que was filming this video. A Black dude dressed like Trump and jumping up and down with a “Trump-Pence 2020” sign behind him is funny no matter who you’re going to vote for on Nov. 3. I think that’s the point here, we all have differences, but we can all come together and laugh at the end of the day instead of spewing hate.
