Quentin Miller Sets Record Straight About Songwriting Credits On Nas Album

Quentin Miller has made headlines once again, this time, for his writing contributions to Nas’ King’s Disease II album.

Quentin Miller was first abruptly introduced to the public eye after several reference tracks, which he performed for Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, were leaked online in 2015. Now it seems the polarizing writer has hit headlines, as fans have seemingly gained interest in the writing credits of Nas’ latest album, King’s Disease II. The track, “The Pressure,” which interestingly has no hook, has Miller listed as one of its primary writers.

Fans started to speculate and question the extent in which he provided said lyrics to the renowned New York M.C. After realizing this, Miller took to his Instagram, to clear the air once and for all. He emphasized his writing credits being public, stating he is no one’s “ghostwriter.” Check out what he had to say below.

Quentin Miller Is NOT A Ghostwriter – Respect the Pen Game

Interestingly enough, this isn’t exactly the first time he brought this up. During an interview on episode 98 of the NEW RORY & MAL podcast, they discuss this exact topic. During the broadcast, Miller is not hesitant to describe the debt of his infamous pen skills. He mentions many other artists he has had a hand in creating for, including Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jeremih. Despite the enormous amount of press his credits seem to produce, he doesn’t believe it has a negative impact. In fact, he believes it has only caused more artists to reach out for work.
