Raz & Anthony Danza Head To Mexico For ‘Jose’ Music Video

Raz Simone and Anthony Danza head straight to the source down in Mexico. The aptly titled “Jose” visual is as pleasing visually as it is audibly.

The beautifully shot Jacob Hill visual was filmed on location in Guadalajara. In the heart of Cartel land away from tourists, the only sightseeing the Black Umbrella camp did in Mexico was politicking with the locals and kicking back on an avocado farm. I hope we can hear behind the scenes stories from the rappers because it looks like they were in areas most people can’t go.

While reaching the pinnacle of the “local scene,” Raz continues to show that his progress as an artist isn’t over. He continues to find ways to integrate elements of what is deemed popular into his cinematic sound. Snares dance around bells in the Paul Judge production and I know Raz personally asked for the heavy strings during song transitions. Danza brings new life into the third verse of the song. Breaking the game down with an accent just to build it up mid-verse. This is some of the best Black Umbrella teamwork we’ve yet to witness.

Looks like Black Umbrella is about to go on a content tear. Make sure to check out Raz’s video to “Clout” here as well.
