Ryan Trey Drops A New Video For His Song “Temptations”

Co-signed by Bryson Tiller, Ryan Trey is one of the hottest up and coming independent artists. After dropping his latest EP August a few weeks ago, the latest visual for his song “Temptations” showcases both his sound and versatility. Trey’s latest project has catapulted him into the mainstream eyes, and as a result his music has been exploding.

On “Temptations”, his style is rhythmic and smooth at the same time. With each line, his delivery is effortless in the most satisfying way possible. The timbre of his voice paired with the emotion of his lyrics adds greater depth to his overall sound.

The video is just as impressive, as red colorations amplify the overall theme and feel of the song. The topic of the song is based around his sexual temptations and tests his loyalty as a person. At certain points, he is seen being under a “spell” and “lifeless” at certain points, as a female figure has complete control over his mind and body. Trey describes this as “once she put the blindfold up over my eyes, it was like she had me. It was almost like a sunken place of like lust, in the sense of seduction.” Check out the video below!
