Seattle has tons of talent that people continue to sleep on. From rappers to producers to DJs, the Pacific North West is simply filthier than the rest of the country but is ten hunnid-hunnid times more low-key about it. One of my DJ homies has been quickly taking over his entire nightlife scene. He will hopefully become the next Kube 93.3 intern working with local legend, DJ SupaSam. Once word got out on Twitter about the internship being open to the public my dude Famous was quick to apply and even quicker to gain local support! The #PickFame trend immediately took over the twittersphere and is still gaining traction every day!
Famous, a young DJ out of Kent, WA has just started a new series on his soundcloud titled #FameFridays. He’s going through a minor identity crisis having recently changed his name from Famous to DJ Fame but I can’t knock him for it. The dude is too talented to go unnoticed and every mix he delivers is super-slappin. He has been a resident DJ at a number of clubs around the greater 206 and most recently has opened for August Alsina, DJ Drama, and has even performed at numerous events featuring local celebrities such as Toney Wroten, Jamal Crawford, and Nate ‘The Great’ Robinson. One day I believe he will truly be famous and his #FameFridays series will be the stepping stone that propels him to new heights.
