Shabazz PBG has linked up with Lil Uzi Vert for his new song titled “Shells.” The new release is also accompanied by a music video, which further illustrates the messaging of both rappers.
From start to finish, “Shells” is hard hitting due to the aggressive lyrics and the booming instrumental heard underneath. Both Shabazz PBG and Lil Uzi Vert hold nothing back as they address various topics in their lives. This can most notably be heard with Lil Uzi Vert claiming that he wants out of his current record deal.
The instrumental is rather minimal, with it mainly being driven by a heavy 808 and a looping synth heard up above. This element pairs perfectly with the back to back punchlines that both rappers deliver throughout. Check out the new song and video below!
