Mic Capes and Drae Slapz Make Em Say SHEESH

Portland heavy hitters Mic Capes and Drae Slapz connect for new EP titled SHEESH. A break from the sound Capes narrowed in on his Concrete Dreams album, but we aren’t mad at that!

Same factual bars, different bounce. Drae Slapz stays true to his name on the EP’s first 3 tracks bringing the slap. The first recored, ‘Sheesh,’ see’s Capes’ cutting through like a Swizz Beatz like lead with bars like “while they rap about popping xans and pain killers, I’m Dame Lillard with the penmanship, my range different.” Picking up the pace on Well Known, Slapz and Mic come together beautifully on ‘I Might.’

Mic Capes & Drae Slapz – SHEESH EP

This sound really embodies the center of the ranges on this project. ‘Passion Fruit’ and ‘Palaces’ round up the project and are probably my favorite jams. Palaces especially, that record is dope.
