Who Is Freeway Rick Ross?
“Freeway” Rick Ross was formerly known as the L.A drug kingpin who popularized crack cocaine in the 1980’s. Today, he works to uplift the community he once corrupted as a youth empowerment leader.
His cannabis brand Freeway, aptly named after his street name, is all about inclusion. Freeway aims to help people of color and works with the nonprofit National Diversity Inclusion & Cannabis Alliance.
First Impressions
The Freeway Sherbmints are housed in an almost yin-yang styled package. The design of the black and white bag makes sure to give credit to the L.A legend who made the brand. After opening the packaging, Joey was immediately hit with a whiff of an herbaceous, earthy aroma.
Cracking open the bud, you could hear a healthy snap, allowing that creamy sherbet smell to filter out. Trichomes cover the bud on the surface and the inside; resulting in a sticky-as-hell texture that’ll get you excited to light up.
One-Hit Review
After taking a bong hit of the Sherbmints, Joey shared that he could taste the flavor of both the robust herb and the creamy sherbet . In this way, you’re getting the best flavors of both the mint and the sherbet sides of the strain.
On the exhale, he could taste an icy pine. After just one hit, the heavy Indica immediately takes effect. What follows is a relaxing head and body high that will leave the smoker feeling very stoned.
