Washington D.C Rapper Shy Glizzy Returns With Hot New Single “Vlone”

Shy Glizzy is one of the hottest up and coming rappers in the game and he’s continuing his 2018 campaign by dropping his new song titled “Vlone”. Last month he released hit singles “Free 3” and “Do You Understand”, which are expected to be included in his upcoming project Ain’t For Everybody that will drop in the upcoming weeks. While it’s unclear if “Vlone” will be in the same collection of songs, he’s made it obvious that he’s determined to build the hype around the project.

“Vlone” is one of the most successful songs that Shy Glizzy has dropped simply due to the contrasting timbres of the vocals heard from start to finish. Most of the lines sit on the edge of having a singing quality, but the attack of the words provide a spoken word twist as well. His verses also include catchy rhythmical elements that helps the listener hone in to the lyrical content throughout the entire song.

Produced by Young Jefe, the piano driven instrumental adds a pleasant depth in relation to what we hear from Shy Glizzy. The lower end of the instrumental that includes the kicks and 808’s are very smooth, which blends nicely with the vocals.
