Slightly Stoopid Brings All-Star Line-Up On 2019 Northwest Tour

Slightly Stoopid brings an all-star line-up to the Inland & Pacific Northwest during their “How I Spent My Summer Vacation 2019 Tour.” Tribal Seeds, Matisyahu, and HIRIE are all on tour with the band from Ocean Beach, CA and each of them have an amazing track record in the reggae genre. They will hit, Bonner, MT, Boise, ID, Bend, OR, and Redmond, WA on starting July 11th in that order.

Tribal Seeds

Based out of San Diego, CA, Tribal Seeds have a different approach to the reggae-rock genre. Their music is influenced by the roots of reggae and they use their music is to speak out on political injustice.

“Let me tell you one thing, real quick. Real original roots reggae music has always been political. Has always been about exposing the injustices within the systems that we live amongst, and it’s not only about peace and love, but real justice.” – Steven Jocobo of Tribal Seeds, Cali Roots Festival 2018

Matisyahu

Matisyahu, in my opinion, is the epitome of how reggae embraces unique individuals with their own unique sound. His diverse style has garnered Grammy nominations, gold records and much respect within the music community, not limited to reggae. I expect to see an incredible performance by him and his live band with hits like;  “One Day,” “King Without a Crown,” and “Sunshine.”

HIRiE

HIRiE is a breath of fresh air.  From the sandy beaches of San Diego, lead singer, Hirie is beautiful and charismatic with her amazing voice and stage presence. Accompanied by a seven piece band, “Good Vibrations” is what this band is about. I will make sure to be there early enough to check them in action.

Slightly Stoopid

Slightly Stoopid just dropped their new music video for the song “One More Night.” A tribute song about the reality of their life on the road. A true, heartwarming song with home videos of the band’s progression since their early days playing with Bradley Nowell of Sublime. Expect them to play many other hits like; “Wiseman,” “Devil’s Door,” and “2am”
