Sobhhi is an emerging artist out of the Middle East whose rise has been as been “hotter than abu/ dhabi.” Racking up millions of streams, this independent artist has been killing the game with his signature style of alternative and R&B dubbed “Trapsoul Nocturnal. A Sultry, dark style that has drawn comparisons to the likes of music powerhouses Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, and Drake.
Sobhhi has a drive that you really do not see very often. At age 7 he composed his first arrangement, at 16 he graduated high school. By 21 he was enrolled at the University of Chicago studying applied mathematics at the doctorate level. So yeah, obviously this is a smart dude. But like I said he has a drive that can be matched by little to none and that’s what really separates Sobhhi from the rest.
Putting that same amount of effort and intelligence into his music, he has been active since November 2017 with his Eps RED I and RED II. He wrote and mixed his newest track “Abu/ Dhabi” 100 percent on his own. A sultry, emotionally driven track about an intense love affair, “Abu/ Dhabi” is sure to set the mood for nighttime activities. His vocal range is on display throughout this track. Showing off his ability to go high and low with his voice in ways that many artists can’t. With a talent like this I might actually have to tell Sobhhi to quit his day job… and that involved having a doctorate in math!
