Sol Celebrates Seattle Hip-Hop Culture In “Soon Enough” Music Video

Sol has been rapping his way around Seattle for the past decade, using his platform to inspire and elevate those around him. Continuing to innovate his artistry, Sol just released the “Soon Enough” music video, directed by Noah Porter, that was shot entirely on 16mm and 8mm film.

Produced by Nima Skeemz and Teal Douville, the already cinematic song – “writing music that feels like movies, the script is mine” – doubles its impact with this visual. Director of photography, Scott Uyeda, and Noah Porter did an incredible job capturing the beauty of our scene and Sol’s music.

The video features some of the cities dopest spots like, Chera and Geo’s Hood Famous Bakeshop and Dick’s Drive-In. An endless amount Seattleite cameos round out this inspirational black and white film. Reinforcing the point that self-development and maintaining relationships within your community are crucial to be successful and maintain longevity as an artist.
