The pairing of strawberries and bananas is perfect for the summer. Cloud Cover, a cannabis farm in Oregon, also delivers a Strawnana cannabis strain. Crossing Banana Kush and a strawberry phenotype of Bubblegum helped to create this delicious fruity strain. This hybrid strain would have been perfect for a few months ago, but I can’t complain about having it now.
After cracking open the mason jar that this strain came in a delectable combination of strawberry and banana aromas permeated the air. The strain smells like there is a smoothie machine in my kitchen that is constantly blending the two fruits. I found myself sticking my nose in the jar a few times and forcing people that were with me to also smell. I wanted to be sure that I wasn’t tripping out about the potency and distinctness of the two smells.
Each piece of Strawnana is an almost lime green color. The splattering of trichomes gives the cannabis a frosty white appearance, while the lack of pistils avoid adding any additional colors to the weed. This stuff looks beautiful, but the smell is what keeps drawing me back.
A subtle version of the smell in the flavor is what I immediately noticed. Shortly after my last exhale a wave of razor sharp focus and creativity overcame my mind. The focus was short lived as I smoked a few more bowls. I noticed that my thoughts became more scattered while my brain bounced around from different ideas.
