“It Was Fun While It Lasted” Tour at The Roxy Theater Recap

For it being my first time in Los Angeles, the scenery and culture were something I had never experienced before. The event was held at The Roxy Theatre on the west side of Hollywood Blvd, and the venue was phenomenal!

KillBoy’s Performance

KillBoy opened up the stage, making the crowd go ballistic. They performed a 25–30-minute set, including some of their new songs from their new EP My Crush. Their sound, energy, and passion were shown throughout their performance. The important thing we know is that KillBoy does NOT give a fuck and showcases her rebellious side! If you’re new to her music, check out the information towards the end of the article.

Lil Aaron’s Performance

Next to come up on stage was Lil Aaron, his sad boy emo vibes got the crowd hyped up! Their stage presence was top tier, their sound was incredible, and the way they interacted with the crowd made me realize this is a band no one should be sleeping on. They also performed for about 30 minutes, and their set made me feel like I was back in Warped Tour days! Lil Aaron played songs off their Dark Matter EP and new singles such as “Problem” and many more hits. Every song had me pumped up to the point where I stopped what I was doing and started singing along with the crowd.

Sueco’s Performance

To end the night, Sueco did a 40-50-minute set and I WANTED MORE! Their set was a mashup of songs from their new Album It Was Fun While It Lasted, and other hit singles such as “Story of My Life,” featuring Trippie Redd, “Fast,” and “Next Ex.”

They opened up their set with “Motel 666,” and just the first few seconds had the crowd, including myself, ready for the magic to happen. Once they performed their third song, “PRIMADONA,” we all knew the crowd wanted more after their guitarist finished the song with a sick guitar solo! Sueco’s whole performance was a set to remember.
