This year’s Summer Meltdown Music Festival is coming in hot. The festival will run from July 28-31, 2022, at Sky Meadows Park in Snohomish, Washington. The fully loaded lineup has performances from Griz, STS9, Lettuce, Cory Wong, and many new, up-and-coming artists.
Beyond the music, Summer Meltdown will have various activities in between. Many different workshops are offered such as costume mending, a climate change discussion, yoga, and other hands-on activities. Also, there will be a variety of art installations. These transformative artists offer different experiences such as live painting, psychedelic therapy, tarot, and more.
Every year, fans vote on a costume theme. The votes are in and the Saturday night theme at Summer Meltdown will be forest creatures. So, make sure to stand out and enjoy frolicking around!
To top it off, Summer Meltdown gives an opportunity for local artists to compete for a slot at the festival. This year, five bands were in the running: CHRVNS, Coaster, Jay Si Proof, The Rhetorician & The Duper Humans, and Sylkroad. In the spring, these bands battled it out on the stage at Nectar Lounge for a 45-minute set at Summer Meltdown. Ultimately, The Rhetorician & The Duper Humans took home the prize and will be performing at the festival.

Tickets for the festival can found here. The early bird passes have already sold out, so make sure you get your tickets asap. You can still purchase single to three-day passes which range from $90-$340. In case you plan on camping, the ticket page has info on the campground as well as parking passes.
