This one took me for an interesting ride. I’ve become quite familiar with ZoZ Cannabis over the last year finding quite a few positive things to say while reviewing their numerous strains. The Sundae Driver strain is one I’ve been looking forward to trying. It’s hard to explain my time behind the wheel of this classic cultivar, but we’ll see how many more car references I can fit in while trying to do so.
The Sundae Driver strain is painted forest green with a glossy trichome coating. There is very little hair to be found, but an incredibly fluffy texture more than makes up for the sparse orange detail. Once opened up, strong gas aromas revealed themselves, which seemed only fitting. The flavor backed up the aroma with a basic earthy taste. Every hit was smooth and the high stayed in a calming idle for the rest of my evening.
Nothing stood out about this strain, but there wasn’t anything wrong with it either. Without a doubt, this Sundae Driver strain is great weed through and through, but maybe it’s just not the ride for me. That’s what is so interesting about cannabis: Sometimes a strain is fantastic, but it’s just not hitting as you want. Much like testing driving a car, sometimes it’s just a certain “feel” that brings it home at the end of the day.
