Steve Angello Confirms Swedish House Mafia Reunion at Ultra Mexico

It’s finally confirmed: Swedish House Mafia will reunite within the next year. Steve Angello confirmed that the electronic trio will return to performing, making the announcement at the end of his Ultra Mexico set over the weekend.

There’s been lots of speculation around the return of Swedish House Mafia over the past few weeks. Namely, mysterious posters have been appearing in London that suggest a brand partnership is in the works with Adidas.

However, this is the first real, verbal confirmation of the reunion. Since Steve Angello told fans that he would return with Swedish House Mafia “next time”, it’s safe to assume the reunion will happen within the next year. It also suggests that the group will be on tour around the summer/fall of 2019.

This news was expected by fans hoping for a reunion, as there have been hints of a world tour since July. With the announcement coming in Mexico, and the posters appearing in London, it’s safe to confirm a large-scale reunion tour.
