This is a dual-action desktop type vaporizer that is a significantly improved and redesigned version of its very successful predecessor the Arizer Extreme.
Manufactured by Canadian company Arizer, whose vaporizers are very popular amongst the vaping community, the products are well known for being reliable and very reasonably priced.
Arizer Extreme Q Features
This is a “multi-purpose” vaporizer that offers the option to either fill bags through a forced air system or to use whips in several different ways. Whether you prefer to use “direct draw” (which doesn’t use any assistance from the fan) or to use the whip with forced air, the versatility is there.
The Arizer Extreme Q features a digital temperature display and a separate remote control. Temperature is easily adjusted by using the buttons on the display or by using the remote. It is possible to alter the temperature down by single degrees depending on how exact you want to be; however, the vaporizer does need to run a little higher than you might normally run it given the chamber’s position in relation to the heating element. The best vape temperature will, therefore, be found at around the 372-degree mark.
The Arizer Extreme Q is quite easy to clean; however, the multiple whips and screens can make the whole process a little time-consuming.
Because this vaporizer has a glass chamber, it is worth noting that prolonged use can lead to it becoming pretty hot. The other slight downside is that the bags do take a little longer to other desktop vaporizers such as the Volcano vaporizer, however with the significantly lower price tag to pay this could be seen as a minor inconvenience at best.
The ceramic heating element of the Arizer Extreme Q comes with a lifetime warranty and defects in both materials and workmanship are covered by a three-year warranty.

Arizer Extreme Q Tutorial
It is recommended that before you use your Arizer Extreme Q for the first time you allow it to sterilize itself. Do this by plugging it in and pressing the lower left-hand side button and setting the temperature to 260 degrees (the max temperature for this vaporizer). Let the vaporizer sit for around 20 minutes. Whilst it is doing this, take one of the cyclone bowls and place (don’t push) it on top, this should get rid of any manufacturing residue and sterilize the unit. You can clean the whips with hot water and a little bit of soap – make sure they are rinsed well.
There are three methods for using the Arizer Extreme Q; drawing directly through the whip, blowing up balloons filled with vapor (which is the most popular method) or using the aroma dish.
A quick word about the control buttons; the power one (which we already used) turns the unit on or off. It is worth having a little play with these and seeing which each one does before you use the Extreme Q for the first time. The unit also has a remote control which you might like to use, but which is not essential. Again, it is worth familiarising yourself with this.
Starting your session – Heat up the Arizer Extreme Q to your preferred temperature level and leave it 5 minutes once it has reached the desired temperature. This ensures a stable temperature in the heating chamber. Whilst the unit is heating up, fill the cyclone bowl up to the top with herb (which should be ground up well). When the vaporizer is ready to place the cyclone on top. At this point, you can use either the whip or the balloon to generate a good quality vapor.
Using the whip – Take the elbow adaptor and put it on top of the cyclone bowl. Drawing on the mouthpiece should give you a nice quality vapor. You shouldn’t need to use the fan with the whip.
Using a balloon – take the balloon and the short whip and connect the two. Place this “single” piece on top of the cyclone bowl and inflate the balloon – you can use the remote for this. As with any vaporizer, a slower more consistent draw will yield a better vapor, the same with the speed of the fan, slower is better. Once the balloon is fully inflated detach it, place your finger over the mouthpiece and draw as you want.
Using the aroma dish – Simply place your potpourri or stones in the dish with a few drops of essential oil and place it on top of the Arizer Extreme Q. Set the desired temperature, which should be relatively low, set the fan speed to one and leave the unit for a couple of minutes.
