La and Jester time traveled back to the ‘The Beacon House (2011-2012)’ and brought back to battle the tyranny of modern-day mediocre hip-hop. All of these tracks were recorded in the years 2011-2012 and were remastered and released on all streaming platforms.
“Big shout out to @nate_engstrom who co-produced tracks 2, 6, and 10, and lended input on all of it. Also shout out to @akiddcalledolee and @tron2000xl for recording, and @lessthanthreebrad for mixing and mastering to achieve a cohesive sound and touch up some truly rough mixes,” Jester said on Instagram.
Any time as fans we get a peek into an artist’s vault, it feels like a privilege – a look into a creative seed that blossomed and flowered while collecting dust in a thumbdrive or a folder that hasn’t been opened in ages. ‘The Beacon House’ reminds me of all the trap houses that fueled my youth in more ways than one and the music that echoed through their walls. La and Jester have done it again
