Toronto Spotlight || Lais Releases A New Song Titled “Consequence”

Toronto based singer Lais has released a new song titled “Consequence” ahead of his upcoming album SESSIION. His latest release is the lead single off the project, which is due to drop later this week.

His new single “Consequence” doesn’t disappoint, as the loosely trap-based instrumental supports his emotional and reflective vocals. From start to finish, Lais demonstrates a smooth quality with his voice, which meshes well with the instrumental.

The topic of the song is unique because it isn’t based around himself. It instead tells a more distant and reflective story. This can be heard with lines such as “Call me, we stay up all night / Ain’t slept in bout a couple nights / She say I’m so obsessed with you / You should’ve never let me through.”
