Long time Seattle favorite Romaro Franceswa recently sat down with Town Talk Podcast for an in-depth interview. With a lot of unfiltered real talk and goofy shenanigans, Romaro gives the podcast the best episode to date because of his transparent honesty.
Franceswa gets candid about his new EP “Kiss The Sky” (which will be out next month) and his favorite and least favorite artists in Seattle. We talk about the changing Central District as well as how Seattle is changing as a whole – both artistically and physically. Frankly, we share a lot of the same feelings. Rest in peace to the Red Apple at the promenade.

Romaro goes in depth about his current status in Black Umbrella, a recent “incident” at the Crocodile in Seattle and being included on Raz Simone’s “Clout”. He briefly discusses being snubbed in a DJ Booth article and why he deserves – and has earned respect in the music industry. After his many accomplishments in the scene, locally as well as nationally, we don’t blame him.
Where to listen to the podcast?
You can listen to the episode below via SoundCloud or you can go to iTunes. Subscribe and then download Romaro’s episode as a way to both support him and the podcast. Come for the shit talking, stay for the metaphors. You know you’re curious about how performing at the Key Arena with Dave B felt in the moment.
Looking to catch him live? Franceswa has many upcoming shows he will be announcing soon. If for whatever reason you were on the fence about Franceswa’s music you should catch a live performance. His frenetic energy will always convert the most passive of listeners.
For now, until more are announced, you can buy tickets to his show in Spokane at the Bartlett. Featuring support from Spokane favorite Jango, Mr. Nice Nice and Soultanz, you can buy tickets here.
