Tyga Launches OnlyFans Competitor MyyStar After Deleting OnlyFans Account

Tyga says goodbye to OnlyFans so he can launch his own competitive platform called MyyStar. It seems that after the social media platform announced its ban on sexually explicit content, the rapper decided to delete his account the very next day. To add insult to injury, Tyga has created his own social media platform that will allow virtually any content.

Creating MyyStar was not only made to be a platform for almost any content but to specifically give a new home to sexually explicit content. This was a direct response to OnlyFans’ recent ban. MyyStar will be launching in October of this year. However, creators can apply for an invite to use MyyStar. Tyga is creating more incentives to try MyyStar by only charging a 10% fee on all creator earnings. This is half of what OnlyFans charges their creators.

Tyga Looks Out For Creators

“I know how many people make a lot of money on OnlyFans, and that’s where most of their revenue is at,” Tyga told Forbes. “I want to give those people hope.”

This past Thursday, OnlyFans announced that any content creator would be blocked from posting explicit content because of the mounting pestering from banking partners and payment providers. Only fans stated, “In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, we must evolve our content guidelines.”

Tyga’s MyyStar Gears Up For Launch

While earning millions of dollars on OnlyFans, Tyga had set himself as the fourth top earner on the platform. Influencer Marketing Hub has him earning roughly $8 million, just behind Blac Chyna, Bella Thorne, and Cardi B.

Tyga has chosen to collaborate with creative director Ryder Ripps of OKFOCUS. Ripps has worked with rappers like Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, and Kanye West. On top of the explicit content, MyyStar will also have content from podcasters, comedians, athletes, and musicians. Additionally, Tyga will allow creators to sell NFTs on MyyStar.

Back in the winter of 2020, Tyga also launched TooRaww, his OnlyFans management and lifestyle company. TooRaww has more than 2 dozen clients and counting as more and more hype surrounds Tyga’s MyyStar.
