Seattle’s very own Webb Wavvy had a huge 2017 by prolifically performing and recording new music, and he’s back with a new mixtape titled Last Few Weeks where he’s teamed up with Phlip40Wayz. As mentioned on previous coverage of his releases, Webb Wavvy is one of the hardest working Seattle rappers in the game. With the drop of his new project, he’s proving that he plans to keep his forward momentum.
From start to finish, both artists deliver verses based around complex wordplay paired with a hard delivery – which is expected from all fans at this point. Early standout tracks include “What It Be Like” and “Make It Drop”.
While Last Few Weeks showcases perfectly executed foolproof vocals, one of the most interesting aspects of the project is seen with the variety of producers heard throughout. From hearing beats from Synco, Duse Beatz, Birdie Bands and more; each beat adds a nice variation while at the same time meshing well with the overall flow of the project.
