Cannabis for the Casino: The Best Las Vegas Weed Products and Strains for Tourists

How many movies about getting drunk in Las Vegas have been released at this point? The answer is too many; even if you count the first and third Hangover movies as one. And now that recreational cannabis has been on the Nevada scene for a couple years, we feel it’s time weed received some glamour instead.

With that in mind, we compiled some info from a handful of dispensaries in Las Vegas. Joey, our COO, went from storefront to storefront asking what the hottest products were for tourists. After a day or two of intel gathering, we were able to compile this list. Here’s the hottest cannabis strains and products in Sin City right now.

Top Cannabis Products in Las Vegas

Sip Elixirs – 100mg Drink Shots

Nanotech, tropical themes, and full-spectrum THC collide in SIP Elixir shots. Most Las Vegas stores saw these small, THC-dense weed beverages’ stocks moving quite fluidly. Consumers seem to love the convenient, unique buzz they get from a shot-bodied cannabis product.

Sip Elixirs themselves dedicate their product line to a simple, enjoyable experience. There are currently four flavors: Hurricane, Wild Berry, Watermelon, and Mai Tai. Each flavor is also dedicated to partying, sleeping, and chilling twice over respectively.

Dreamland Candy Bars

There’s something about cannabis chocolate that just screams “I’m the greatest idea anyone had since canna-butter,” and it might be true, too. Dreamland is one instance of a cannabis candy bar company committing itself to beautiful product design, delicious flavors, and consistent ingredients.

Dreamland chocolate is single-origin sourced, and it’s blended into a variety of flavors. On their website, they stress the importance of maintaining superior standards when compared to low-quality cocoa and chocolate products that are resoundingly commonplace (glaring at you, Nestle). Check out their website to learn more about their goal, as well as their amazing flavor palette.

Rove Pre-Rolled Joints

The Rove brand could easily be the master of product aesthetics. What’s more interesting about this poll however is the fact that their pre-rolled joints – a newer line of products compared to their infamous carts and “Diamonds” – are what were mentioned the most.

Rove doesn’t just care about clean packaging, their cannabis is 100% organic and processed with extreme care. Their extraction process precedes the introduction of natural terpenes and fruit extracts for a real, flavorful experience. Don’t miss out on this gem of a brand.

Green Life Productions Hash Rosin

As cultivators, even, Green Life Productions is a Nevada treasure. Before their cannabis turns into the high-demand hash rosin we heard so much about, it’s made with meticulous care. Green Life soil beds are no-till, dynamic ecosystems of their own. The indoor grow facilities are highly sustainable and focus on all-natural processes.

Green Life Productions seem to usually pump out tons of flower and pre-rolls, but rosin is a rarer luxury that they are indeed selling in Vegas dispensaries. When you’re traversing local stores, keep an eye out for this marvelous concentrate.

Top Strains in Las Vegas

That covers the top five products, but we’re not done there. While also browsing products, we took note of the highest demand weed strains in Las Vegas. Here’s what we found when it comes to the bigger picture.

Garlic Cookies | Taken by @weedglutton on Instagram

Nature’s Chemistry – Garlic Cookies

You would think strains with less appetizing names like “Cheese,” “Cat Piss,” and “Garlic Cookies” to be a bad marketing tactic. As it turns out, as long as the bud is good, the demand isn’t going anywhere. That is the exact case for Nature’s Chemistry’s own Garlic Cookies.

And no wonder people love this strain, too; it’s a cross of Girl Scout Cookies and Chemdawg. The indica-dominant hybrid is reportedly bountiful in limonene, caryophyllene, and myrcene terps. Suddenly, those Garlic Cookies are sounding a lot tastier.

State Flower – Peanut Butter Soufflé

Do-Si-Do meets Lava Cake in the strain Peanut Butter Soufflé. This is another indica-dominant hybrid with a similar level of popularity to Garlic Cookies. Las Vegas tourists are eating up this PB strain like wildfire, and we can see why, too.

Reports clock Peanut Butter Soufflé at around 32% THC, and 37% cannabinoids overall. The buds are a greenish-purple, and the high might be very relaxing and arousing. It’s no surprise this is one of the biggest weed strains in Las Vegas right now.

Wiz Khalifa’s Own Khalifa Kush

This OG-descendant strain by Wiz Khalifa is arguably a rarity. There was apparently an “original” Khalifa OG that is now only provided in small batches to specific partners. This strain continues to be perfected to this day by Wiz Khalifa and his team.

The nugs on this strain look like nature’s Sour Patch Kids. Crystals practically obscure these dense buds which are supposedly lemony in flavor with a hint of pine. It may not have the same colossal THC percentage as the previous two (20%), but if what people say is true, it’s a very enjoyable experience you’d best get your hands on while you can.

The Grower Circle – Topanga Canyon OG

Earthy, herbal, enjoyable. The Grower Circle produces top-shelf cannabis at dispensaries like Jardin. Topanga Canyon, for one, is a 50:50 hybrid apparently perfect for a Happy Hour smoke sesh.

With anywhere from 28-30% THC, and a bountiful terpene profile, there’s no doubt this strain stands out in Nevada’s market. Topanga Canyon may be the perfect key to a great time in Las Vegas.

Circle S Farms – Kobe

Vegas tourists seem to love indica hybrids, which is exactly what Kobe is. Named after the late Lakers star, Circle S Farms seem focused on making this strain in his likeness.

The trichomes on Kobe are a clean white, and the bud itself is fairly purple. This is a cross of L.A. Confidential and Purple Punch, so that comes as no surprise. With a piney, grape scent and tons of caryophyllene, Kobe may be a great option for people in need of an anti-inflammatory strain.
