Have You Heard YG's New Single "Big Bank"?

YG Drops New Single “Big Bank” Ahead Of His Third Album Release

YG has dropped a new single titled “Big Bank” that features 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj, ahead of his third album Stay Dangerous which will drop on June 22nd, 2018. Aside from the high-energy single that features a star-studded lineup, YG also teams up with DJ Mustard who has been a frequent collaborator with his previous work.

“Big Bank” brings to the table everything we can expect from YG: catchy anthems beats that slap and accomplished features. While “Big Bank” contains lyrics and themes that are quite simple, they also bring back a sound that we haven’t heard from YG since 2014’s My Krazy Life. This can mostly be seen by teaming up with DJ Mustard by achieving the same party driven sound with the encompassing cut off lead to prominent claps.

In regards to the features, all three artists do a respectable job as their verses pair nicely with the initial verse and chorus that YG provides at the beginning of the song. With the beat of “Big Bank” being so hollow, it was smart for YG to include a variety of MC’s to add extra flavor to keep the song interesting.
