CRSSD Festival Returns To The San Diego Waterfront March 3rd and 4th w/ ODESZA, Channel Tres, + More

Downtown San Diego’s beautiful scenic Waterfront Park is set to host the Spring 2023 edition of CRSSD Festival. The two-day city-center festival is said to be one of the West Coast’s most respected house and techno music festivals, with this year offering 21 and over fans a unique mixture of tunes from the global electronic music community.

This year being my first time attending, I’m excited to check out some of the larger and more recognizable artists on the lineup like ODESZA, Polo & Pan, Lane 8, Channel Tres, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Out of those artists alone, I’ve only seen a live performance from Lane 8 and it’s been quite a few years.

CRSSD Festival Stages

CRSSD Festival’s three stages are The Ocean View, The Palms, and The City Steps. Each location will host a curated lineup of incredible artists. The Ocean View stage will be the one to host Grammy-nominated duo ODESZA and Compton’s Channel Tres.

At The Palms stage fans will experience Bedouin, Kavinsky, Seth Troxler b2b Eats Everything, Purple Disco Machine, Mall Grab, and Jackmaster. Over on The City Steps stage, Deborah De Luca, Maya Jane Coles, Umek and a few other really great artists are scheduled to tear it up. CRSSD Festival also welcomes some exciting underground global acts. New Zealand’s Chaos In The CBD and Ireland’s KETTAMA are two artists I’m particularly excited to check out over the two-day festival.

According to the CRSSD Festival website, the experience extends beyond the stages. Fans are able to enjoy craft food and cocktails from a variety of vendors, experiment with new production gear, search through vinyls, meet artists at the new CRSSD Lab, and explore beautiful downtown San Diego.
