The title was previously held by Nicki Minaj, whose 2014 album The Pinkprint spent 123 weeks on the Billboard 200. Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy has now surpassed Minaj’s 124 weeks and is likely to continue to chart for weeks to come, solidifying her as the record holder.
Cardi B’s album Invasion was a massive hit, originally released in April 2018 supporting her global phenomenon “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).” The album spawned the crossover mega-hit “I Like It (featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin)” which has amassed over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone.
