Drake announced last October that he was going to release his new album Certified Lover Boy in January 2021. When January came around, Drake revealed that he will no longer be dropping the album that month. Since then, the rapper has yet to announce another release date.

Rumor has it that Drake experienced a knee injury, but he didn’t share many details on his condition. In January, Drake revealed on his Instagram Story that “his energy has been dedicated to recovery.” He also noted “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
We’re all anticipating a new banger from the hottest rapper in the game. There could be a chance that we’ll be able to listen to Drake’s new album before next year.
In February, DJ Akademiks stated during a livestream that “Drake told me it’s going to be dropping before April so he’s not waiting until summer to drop his sh*t.” However, it’s unclear if Akademiks is a reliable insider source on this information.

Scary Hours 2
The questions remain about when the Certified Lover Boy album will drop. For now, we can at least listen to Drake’s newest EP, featuring Lil Baby and Rick Ross.
Drake dropped his first ‘Scary Hours’ EP in 2018, which included “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity”. At the beginning of March this year, Drake released 3 singles on his ‘Scary Hours 2’ EP.
You can’t deny that Drake is one of the hottest rappers in the game right now. His ability to share his emotion and energy in his raps and connect that passion with his audience is nothing short of inspirational.
Fortunately, there’s high hopes that Drake’s new album will drop sometime before 2022. We’re excited to see what Drake has in store for us for the rest of this year.
