From lyrics to production 4NTI. (pronounced ANTI) and U Moore delivers a six-track EP. With a variety of moods and vibes, Still In Hell is worth checking out! 4nti. is an alumnus of Macklemore’s The Residency program and U Moore has produced, released his own album, and also been a DJ and close friend of Seattle act Dave B.
Old Me opens the Still In Hell with a voicemail directed to 4NTI, followed by a pitched-up voice expressing his frustration on a few things going on in his mind. U Moore’s production provides balance for the lyrics, it doesn’t overshadow or underperform. I feel like every track has a high replay value regardless of the length.
A majority of the project contains songs a little over two minutes or less. This allowed me to listen multiple times and grasp the music a little differently. Personally, I’m stuck between 808 or 808, and Harambe as my favorite tracks.
If you happen to like this, both artists have also released music in the past. 4nti. has The Prequel & Same Energy both solid bodies of work. U Moore on the other hand has a self-produced album 4-21; a 21 track album full of instrumentals and a few guest features you don’t want to miss.
If you are into short personalized projects I suggest you check this out asap!
